Lubrication specialists Renite have developed a new high temperature general purpose blank swab dope, Renite F-72, for use with all forming processes. Renite F-72 has been developed to provide a highly economical swabbing material that helps reduce or eliminate black specks and load marks and gives excellent results for all types of ware, including wine, beer, soft drinks/food containers. It is primarily intended for use with medium to large-size moulds and to meet the demanding conditions on hot, fast running IS machines. When swabbed on a hot metal mould surface, it leaves a firmly bonded, graphitic solid film lubricant. Normally, Renite F-72 is used as-is, supplied lightly with a dry swab to the blank moulds & bottom plates. The excellent durability of the coating means less frequent swabbing & the product is thoroughly homogenised.
