Release Of Zinc And Phosphate Ions From Zno-P2O5 Glass Systems And Its Characterization

Release of zinc and phosphate ions from glasses has been studied in aqueous media (pH - 5.7, 6.5 and 8.0). The results indicated that by optimising the zinc:phosphate and phosphate:water ratios in the glass composition the release of zinc and phosphate can be controlled for agricultural purposes.
