Relative Volatility Of Borate Glasses And Melts Studied By High Temperature Mass Spectrometry

The systematic analysis of the features of the vaporization processes of binary borate systems was carried out according to the position of oxide modifiers in the Periodic Chart of the atoms. Taking into consideration the observed regularities of vaporization of borate systems, the existence of calcium borates in vapour over the Ca0-B203 system was confirmed by the high temperature mass spectrometric method.
