After about three years of exchange of information, the BREF-BAT reference document for pollutant emissions for the glass industry - is now available. The purpose of this IPPC Directive is the prevention and reduction of pollution from industrial activity. This paper looks at the issue of NOx emission control and outlines existing techniques.
