Recycling Factory In Uk

Midland Glass Processing has started operating a new bottle recycling factory at Southampton. The factory takes bottles from collection sites in the nearby area and processes them into cullet before shipping them by sea around the UK. The development has been supported by an £800,000 grant from the UK government, provided on the basis that using ships to carry cullet will cut the number of lorries using local roads.
