Recycled Glass Agreement

The British Glass Recycling Company (BGRC) has announced an agreement on the future of the organisation has been reached between shareholders Rockware Glass and United Glass, with Rockware's 50% holding in the company being sold to United Glass. As part of the agreement, both companies will separately take responsibility for a proportion of BGRC's existing contracts in England, although BGRC's suppliers in Scotland will not be affected by this change. With demand for recycled glass in the container industry remaining high, the two companies will ensure continuity of business for all of BGRC's suppliers. This agreement will allow both glass makers to expand the recycling aspect of their operations through separate supply chains. (whole item)
