Raute Precision Continues To Contribute To Glass Recycling

A few years ago, Raute Precision developed, in co-operation with one of its customers, a waste fibre glass recycling plant capable of processing very difficult fibre waste and turning it back into glass raw material. The recycling process has turned out to be a success with remarkable benefits: better yield and savings in energy, raw material and dumping costs. Its latest contribution to recycling is its co-operation with Krysteline (UK) and means the company can now offer its customers the patented Krysteline process. This unique process transforms contaminated waste glass, of all forms, in a single process into safe, sterile, glass crystals free of sharp edges and suitable for re-use in new glass production or for sale into alternative high value markets.
