Rating System Of Windows For Residential Buildings In Italy (In Italian)

Building energy consumption mostly depends on heat transfer and solar gain which occur through the windows. An iniative is illustrated for the introduction of a window rating system for the domestic residential building sector, aiming to enhance the Italian market of energy-efficient products. An appropriate use of this system will allow architectural engineers to lower energy consumption in residental buildings and consequently to reduce CO2 emissions.
