The Rainbow Colours Produced By Iron And Manganese

The iron-manganese system has been used since the Roman era to produce various colours from chemically identical glasses. Peter Howard, freelance glass technologiest, has collaborated with researchers at the Natural History Museum and University of Manchester to recreate and analyse the rainbow of colours available.
