Quinn Glass Pre-Tax Down In 2004

Quinn Glass Ltd, part of the business empire of Irish entrepreneur Sean Quinn, posted a pre-tax profit of £9.5M in 2004, down from almost £10M the previous year. Turnover increased by £4 million to just over £55M. After paying £2.8M in taxes, the company had a retained profit for the year of £6.7M. The company, which employs 340 staff, is entirely controlled by the Quinn family. (whole item)
