A new laser process is described for structuring large surface areas of float glass. Developed by Laser Zentrum Hannover (LZH) and Cerion to achieve high quality, shorter processing time sand flexibility of design, the first successful application of the process can be seen in Norderstedt, near Hamburg, Germany, where a new building's 300m2 insulated glass facade was structured on both sides using laser technology.
