Queens Award Supplier

Tutbury Crystal's fine lead crystal bowls have been presented to the Year 2000 winners of the Queen's Award. A total of 115 bowls were individually engraved with the new Queen's Award emblem, the year and category for outstanding achievement. The crystal bowls replace the previous award item that had traditionally been presented since the awards were first launched in 1966. Tutbury's design team worked on the project for several months with staff at the Queen's Award office and design experts at the Central Office of Information & St James Palace. According to Ian Nicklin, sales director at Tutbury Crystal, the whole order was turned around within three weeks from initial blowing to final polishing and presentation. (whole item)
