Quantitative Model Studies Of Stirrers For Laboratory Glass Melts

In a viscous liquid, matching of the Reynolds number should be sufficient to model flow patterns accurately, so room temperature modelling using this criterion should allow much useful preliminary work to be done on stirrer design and operating conditions. Quantitative assessment of homogeneity was made in the present work using a technique developed by Jambor-Sadeghi, but similar to that used by Cooper et al.
