[27 October 2016] Sedak has produced a quality handbook which is the basis for the assessment of products that are manufactured and supplied by sedak GmbH & Co. KG. It defines the physical and visual tolerance areas of the glass products and supplements the terms and conditions. The glass manufacturer sedak has released a new quality handbook. It defines the manufacturing tolerances and is the basis for the visual assessment of sedak products. Besides the standards, regulations and data sheets mentioned in the handbook, order-specific tolerances are determined especially due to the current technical production capabilities. Designers now have a concrete guideline with technical data like dimensions, flatness, edge seal as well as visual characteristics. The handbook specifies the quality of sedak’s entire product range, from basic glass to insulating glass. Generally, sedak complies with the indicated standards.
