Quality Assurance In Float Glass Cutting

From the beginning of float glass production, manufacturers have tried to evaluate the quality of the uncut glass ribbon before cutting. Traditionally, off-line inspection has provided the earliest opportunity to evaluate the glass. Grenzebach Maschinenbau has developed an on-line system which monitors the quality of the glass ribbon before cutting.
