Quality Approval Confirms Advances At Speciality Glass Plant

The Advanced Materials and Process Technology Division of Corning Ltd, recently received ISO 9002 accreditation for its quality systems to produce borosilicate glass. This represents a major achievement for the Sunderland-based organisation, whose prospects had been less than certain towards the end of the 1980's. Now a healthy future is predicted for the specialist manufacturer of technical glass products.
