Pvb - Shaping

Major windscreen producers have shaped and stretched their PVB (polyvinylbutyral) during the last 20 years. All traditional continous shaping machines have been designed for shaping one radius in long production runs. Additionally, the machines have been expensive. For these two reasons continuous shaping has not been economical for medium-sized producers or for short runs. Now SOFTECO has developed a new series of continuous shapers for production speeds three or six m/min., which can be used for both short and long production series. For the first time it will be possible for medium-sized producers to shape the PVB they need and also stretch it when they need it.
