The DTI Manufacturing Advisory Services (DTI MAS) is a Government support programme specifically for manufacturers. In S Yorks, the DTI MAS supports companies by: providing free energy/environmental audits; & providing support for the identification & implementation of solutions to tackle energy projects. There is funding for £16,500 per manufacturing site in the Yorkshire & Humber regions for the implementation of energy solutions. The funding is available up to March 2008 & each site could obtain help for energy or environmental projects for up to £49,500. DTI MAS is holding two breakfast seminars, with experts from Grantham Cartwright & Energy Management Systems, explaining how they can help businesses reduce energy & waste costs.
