£1.2M Expansion For Tuffx

Following a 35% increase in orders for its products during 2007, processed glass manufacturer TuffX has opened a new £1.2m factory in Widnes. Principally the new 15,000ft factory is designed to increase the company's production capacity, which includes 6mm-19mm thick toughened glass, as well as tinted,low iron,heat soaked,toughened laminated & screen printed glasses with various colours & designs available. All productions methods at the new site that have been implemented are said to be certified & supported by the BS EN 12600:2002 Kitemark accreditations.
