The force action on the slip layer in the course of formation of an enamel coating on an article performing a complex motionj is studied. The forces acting on ann elementary volume of the enamel slip are calculated. The main types of forces fostering removal of excess slip and formation of a uniform coating are identified. The conditions for producing a high-quality enamel layer are considered.
