Pro Glass Contact: A New Concept In Hot End Handling

Since asbestos was banned in the 1980s, glassmakers and their suppliers have tried to find a replacement material with the same facility of use as asbestos; able to be applied everywhere from sweep out to stacker with the same results for glass protection. Several products have been launched on the market, however, Group Rondot has been working to try and find the perfect replacement for asbestos, a product that: Is the same material for all applications (sweep out, transfer wheel and stacker); Can be applied to or cover existing supports; Does not need to be fixed using glue, pop rivets or screws, and; will reduce the build up of tin or titanium deposits after the hot end coating hood on the transfer wheel finger or stacker bar pad and cut down the risk of checks. With this in mind, Pro Glass Contact has been developed.
