[Prn'S] Market Status Report August 2014 - October 2014

According to the latest issue of The Environment Exchange, PRN trading prices for the quarter were stable against a backdrop of weak demand. Good supply was offered with buyers provided with a number of markets to secure tonnage. As seen in other materials, the Q3 supply figure set in motion further softening of prices although Spot trading activity in October consisted mainly of Remelt trades with the alignment of prices resulting in buyers opting for the Remelt note. Once again, the softening 2014 price resulted in sellers opting to pick up transitional trades in January at better value and adjusting operations to favour December activity.
