Primary Techniques Bring The Nox Emission Level Of A Float Furnace Close To 500 Mg/Nm3 Or 1Kg/Ton Of Glass (In French)

An optimal combustion system, named FENIX, has been installed on a float furnace in Aniche (Saint-Gobain Vitrage). The NOx emission level reached by these primary techniques is 600 mg/Nm3 or 1,24 kg/ton of glass. A level of 510 mg/Nm3 has been demonstrated for a shorter test period.
