Preperation Bits And Mas Glass-Ceramics As Pane Materials For Light Scattering And Depolarization

The BTS and MAS glass-ceramics have been prepared as a pane material with light scattering and depolarization due to their special crystallisation features. The experiment results indicate that the crystallisation process is controllable and could be managed to the purpose, and the measured properties (surface hardness, constant of thermal expansion and optical characteristics) could meet the requirement of replacing natural materials.
