Practical Experience Of Screen Printing Directly On Glass With Revtech Organic Uv Ink - Envirogluv

The decoration of a glass product is very important. Direct screen printing is seen as the "preferred" packaging of choice for up scale marketers. RevTech realise that the importance of developing a solution for direct screen printing that is environmentally sound and without toxic heavy metals or volatile compounds and with that in mind, Envirogluv inks were developed almost 20 years ago for Revlon cosmetics applications. As legislation regarding the use of toxic heavy metals came into force, decorating alternatives were developed. Envirogluv technology not only dramatically reduces fuel consumption by curing with UV light rather than costly energy consuming lehr ovens, but also eliminates heavy metals, most solvents and other VOC's from the glass decorating process.
