Ppg Presents Awards To Automotive Glass Design Competition Winners

At the 2007 edition of the PPG Design Challenge Awards, students from the College for Creative Studies were challenged to design a vehicle for a young male named Matt, a recent college graduate beginning his career whose vehicle needs to be image-enhancing and reliable because he uses it for work. Concepts were judged on creative fulfilment of the profiled consumer's needs, demonstration of unique, new window systems with due consideration to glass material and processing characteristics, display of unique exterior design features for function and aesthetics, and creative use of colour and texture to enhance appeal.
