Powder Size Control Aids Glass Reuse

Powdered glass is a useful material but difficult to produce. In this article the author describes a new milling technology from UK-based IIT UK that solves production problems. The M350 vertical milling system is a low-energy roller mill that is specifically designed to accommodate an output capacity range of up to 4.5t/hr for single-pass applications, and up to 500kg/hr for finer products requiring classification. Ideal for cullet reprocessing, as well as a range of waste glass powder applications including process validation, small tonnage batch processing, research and development, material preparation and pre-processing routines.
