Post Mortem Study Of Standard Silica, Silica Without Lime And Fused Cast Materials For Oxy Fuel Glass Melting Furnace (Abstract Only)

Because of energy saving and environmental protection, oxy-fuel furnaces become popular for glass melting. The higher corrosion of the melter crown, caused by a higher content of NaOH in the atmosphere, is one of the problems for oxy fuel glass melting furnaces. In this paper the post mortem study of standard silica, silica without lime and fused cast materials used for oxy fuel furnace crown is reported.
