Polish Minerals Industry

While sulphur is well known as the only industrial mineral that is exported from Poland in significant volumes, it masks to some extent the far reaching changes in domestic mineral supply to the plaster board, glass, and ceramics industries. All of these markets have seen sustained and rapid growth in Poland in the last five to ten years with interest and investment from leading players in western Europe. This article charts the dynamic changes in Poland's minerals and markets in recent years.
