Platinum Demand Booms In Glassmaking

Producers of glass for liquid crystal displays are increasing global demand for platinum in glassmaking, according to the CE of precious metals consultancy GFMS. LCDs now account for 56% of the global computer screen market, up from 10% three years ago.
