Pitchstone Fines Pozzolanic Activity Assessment As Partial Portland Cement Replacements

According to this paper, mined pitchstone fines (PF), derived as a waste by-product from expandable perlite production in Australia, are a viable, environmentally friendly aluminosilicate cementitious material, suitable for partial Portland cement replacement, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions resulting from Portland cement manufacture.
