Pilks Takes A Stand

Pilkington had a huge presence at Glassex last year, sponsoring the Conservatory Design Competition. This generated interest in Pilkington Activ self- cleaning glass. The company has decided to commit to taking stand space later in the year, a decision made easier by the addition of the Glassex sister event GP&T. The latest addition to the Pilkington Activ family, Pilkington Activ Neutral will be on show. Neutral in colour. this self-cleaning glass has solar control properties & is an alternative to the company's popular Pilkington Activ Blue. Also on show will be the new energy-efficient insulating glass unit, Pilkington energiKare. Designed to meet the growing demand to reduce energy loss from from homes, the Pilkington energiKare scheme enables forward-looking window companies to add value, hence profitability. Pilkington Buliding Products marketing manager, Julia Berkin said:"The show was very successful for us last year; choosing to sponsor the much coveted Conversatory Design Competition was the right move for us and interest int the Pilkington Activ range of products was incredible. "This year, the combination of Glassex and GP&T is really going to attract the right people through the doors - hence we have selected some of our latest products to exhibit, coupled with Pilkington energiKare, our recently launched energy-efficient IGU licensing scheme."
