Pilkington Invests In Green Mirror Output

Pilkington Investment in mirror glass production at Cowley Hill Float factory in St Helens started producing output this month (November). The facility will offer a volume silvering line capable of manufacturing high quality silvered float glass in a wide range of thicknesses. The process enables the production of a mirror glass that will meet the needs of customers demanding a higher quality, environmentally friendly product. The silvering line is the third major investment at the Cowley Hill Float factory in the last two years, bringing the expenditure for that period to in excess of £11.5m. (whole item)
