Pilkington Building Products UK has launched Pilkington Eclipse Advantage, the world leading pyrolytic environmental control glass, into the UK market.Major advances in glass technology, such as low-E & solar control glass, have revolutionised the functionality of glass, however, there have still been limitations on available products offering a combination of these properties together with a range of colours to meet individual requirements. Advantage provides the perfect solution as it combines low-E with solar control in a variety of attractive colours. Advantage provides high light-transmittance, together with reduced solar glare & subtle reflectivity. It is a pyrolytic, rather than a soft coating, meaning there are no significant changes to its properties when toughened or bent as it has a durable hard coating which can be cut, toughened, bent or fabricated into Insulating Glass Units using standard techniques.
