To guarantee high product quality, Pilkington has a laboratory to perform sample tests on raw materials. For over 40 years, Pilkington has been using a magnetic disc separator made by Boxmag Rapid Ltd, to perform daily tests on 25kg samples of limestone and sand. As the Boxmag separator was quite dated, Pilkington decided to upgrade it to a modern, higher performance disc separator. After scouring the market, Pilkington decided to ask Master Magnets Ltd, with over 50 years experience, to supply a disc separator.
