Physical Properties Of Sodium Borosilicate Glasses With Low Silica Content

Viscosity, Knoop hardness, Young's modulus, and infrared measurements have been carried out on some sodium borosilicate glasses with 20 mol% silica content. The structural implications of the results are compared with those derived from nuclear magnetic resonance measurements.
