Physical Properties And Fragility Of Xm20.(50-X)Sr0.50P205 Glasses (M=Ag, Na)

Some physical properites and fragility of glasses from xM20.(50-x)Sr0.50P205 (M=Ag, Na) were examined. The oxygen packing density of the glasses decreased rapidly with increasing Ag20 content. The glass transition temperature was lowered with increasing R(Ag20) from 501 to 211 deg C due to the decrease in density of the glass network. The difference in the contributions of Ag+ and Na+ for physical properties and fragility was also clarified.
