[Philippines] Pioneer Suffers As Chinese Glass Floods In

The country's lone float glass maker has endured a sales decline of roughly 50% resulting from the widespread sale of reportedly substandard glass products from China. Pioneer Float Glass Manufacturing Inc President, Paul Vincent C Go disclosed the firm's sales from Jan-November 2019 slumped between 40-5-%. Providing no figures, he attributed the decline to stiffer competition with imports from China, which he said are mostly substandard.
