Phase Separation And Crystallization Of Glasses In The System R20-B203-Si02 With R=Li, K, Na - Influence On Thermal Properties

The dilatometric properties and viscosity of glasses within the systems Li20-K20-B203-si02 and Na20-B203-Si02 with constant ratios B203/R20=1.5 and 1 (in mol%) were characterized. These compositions have suitable thermal properties to be used as sealants for modern carbonate fuel cells.
