Perspectives On Temperature Monitoring For Float Glass

Process optimisation through non-contact temperature control is evolving. According to German company Raytek, infrared thermometers for industrial use not only monitor temperature changes, but also offer the possibility of saving process parameters. Constant non-contact temperature measurement with infrared thermometers or infrared line scanners ensures a smooth float glass manufacturing process and optimal quality control. Improved product quality, maximum turnout and reduced shutdown times are all arguments supporting the use of pyrometers. For more information please see: www.raytek-europe.com
