Perovskite Crystals "Flip" For Better Stability

Researchers from Los Alamos National Labs, Northwestern University, and Rice University report that they are tinkering with perovskite crystal production methods to improve the performance of perovskite solar cells. The team has developed a "new type of 2-D layered perovskite with outstanding stability and more than triple the material's previous power conversion efficiency," according to a LANL press release - and it is all in the flip of a crystal, as explained in this article.
