Ramsey Products has been awarded a patent for its modular silent conveyor chains. The conveyor chains provide a flat, economical conveying surface that can be configured to accommodate a wide range of width requirements which are driven by silent chain teeth projecting from the underside. Material options include stainless or carbon steels, and plastic resins. Ramsey as also developed a new chain connection system to reduce the chance of faulty connections. The E-Z Link connection uses a special grooved pin a and snap ring that replaces traditional connecting pins, which can be time-consuming and can lead to connections that are either too loose or too tight. The E-Z Link connector is provided with AllGuard Conveyor chains and can be requested on UltraLife, Standard and Low Profile chains.
