Particle Separation Enhances Slag Quality

The economic and technological advantages of blast furnace slag in the production of soda-lime glass are well known. However, the potential presence of particles with a high melting point can be a disadvantage. In this paper the author considers the source of these particles, suggests a method of removing them and underlines the advantages of slag additions.
