Parasitic Electrical Currents In Glass

A study has been made of the spontaneous or parasitic current from an unpolarised 25 mol% soda silicate along with sources that could account for the occurrence of the parasitic current. The current is believed to arise from processes depending on the kind of electrode used and the temperature to which the glass is heated.
