Oxy-Firing Challenge Dominates Meeting Agenda

Last November, the Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Committee held its autumn technical meeting. "Glass Indusstry - Refractories and Furnaces" took place at Ceram Research in Stoke on Trent and was organised to raise awareness of the needs, trends and developments of refractories and furnaces within the glass industry. It was well attended and this paper briefly summorises the variety of papers that were given.
