Orosglas Glass Container Plant

Orosglas - formlery known as Oroshaza Glassworks - is the largest glass container plant in Hungary. Founded in 1963, under the name of Oroshaza Uveggyar, it boasts a 1,300-strong workforce and has an output of 600 tonnes/day. After the Pannonglas liquidation, in 1995 the plant was sold to four individuals and changed its name to Orosglas KFT. At the end of 1995 it was bought by US-based Owens-Illinos.
