Orc Technology Boosts Energy Efficiency At Italian Plants

Sangalli Group has recently entered the glass market by installing ORC-based technology (Organic Rankine Cycle) at two of its plants. Sangalli Group operates two float glass plants at Manfredonia and San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy. In this article the authors discuss the energy efficiency benefits the technology has brought to one plant, and how it has been improved for a second plant, currently under construction.
