The Optimum Temperature For Annealing Glass

On the basis of experimental data on the viscosity and thermal expansion of glass it is shown that structural transformations can take place in the glass at a viscosity greater than 1013 poises. Systematic data on viscosity greater than 1012 poises will be necessary to establish the annealing range.
