Optimisaiton Of The Use Of Raw Materials To Obtain The Best Efficiency Results: Evaluation Of The Chemical And Physical Aspects

Studies are done to compare an initial situation, based on the use of silica sands associated with various alumina carriers, and a final situation which considers the use of the Gruppo Minerali's feldspathic sands, alone or combined with traditional silica sands. Another case considers the addition of Vitrite blast furnace slags in the production of flint as well as coloured glasses.
