Optically Transparent Glass Ceramics With A Low Temperature Expansion Coefficient

The nature of optically transparent glass ceramic materials formation based on industrial wastes has been examined. The intensity of spectral transmittance in the visible region was studied as well as thermal dependence of the specific volume resistance logarithm, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient. It was found that 30% addition of lithium oxide has reduced the thermal expansion coefficient.
